National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER)
The Omtero team has prepared NGER reports for more than 15 years for clients across mining, energy, waste management and heavy industry. Our clients range from single facilities to multi-site corporate groups with hundreds of emission sources.
NGER reports are submitted at the corporate group level to the Clean Energy Regulator, generally by 31 October each year. The calculation methods and evidence requirements are demanding, and the regulator expects every figure to be traceable to its source.
Our platform
Our NGER platform was designed and built in-house. Activity data is captured once and feeds both our NGER and NPI calculation engines. Every calculation is transparent: you can see exactly which method and emission factor has been applied to each source. A full evidence trail is maintained for regulator audits and assurance.
Assistive consulting
We specialise in environmental reporting for Australian requirements, not general environmental consulting. We have strong working relationships with state and federal regulators, and our reports are built to be fully compliant without unnecessary complexity.
